Seven changing radiance

The unique coloring changes depending on the light, and as its name suggests, it looks like a jewel beetle with wings that shine in mysterious colors. It is finished using a special technique in which silver powder is sprinkled on the base material and then lacquered to give it a beautiful color and luster.
Tamamushi-nuri is one of the techniques of Aizu lacquerware that originated in the Muromachi period. Its glittering appearance, which is characteristic of Aizu lacquerware and features elegant designs that incorporate traditional techniques such as Takamaki-e, Hiramaki-e, and Chinkin, gently adds color to your dining table.
