○This product is heat-resistant pottery (heat-resistant white coarse clay). ○Characteristics ・We recommend sealing the pot when you first start using it. This helps prevent dirt and stains. For details, please see "How to seal clay pots (heat-resistant pottery)". Do not use clay pots for deep-frying foods such as tempura or fries. Some clay pots have cracks (crazing) on the surface when you purchase them, and some will develop cracks as you use them. The clay particles are coarse, so moisture from the food in the pot may seep out. If you put the pot on the fire with moisture remaining in the pot, the moisture absorbed by the pot may seep out from the sides and burn. If you store the pot with moisture remaining without drying it thoroughly, it may get stained or moldy. ○Before use When using an open flame, oven, or microwave, wipe off any moisture on the outside. ○After use Do not use the pot with food in it for a long time. After use, immediately remove any dirt, wipe with a dry cloth, and allow it to dry thoroughly before storing it. Drying in direct sunlight has a sterilizing effect and is recommended.
