The Oroku comb is made from Minebari wood, native to Kiso Yabu. The trees used to make Oroku combs take a long time to grow, sometimes 100 or 200 years. The trees that grow slowly and hard are then left to rest for several decades after felling before being crafted into combs by skilled artisans. The combs made over this incredible time are long-lasting enough to be used by three generations of parents and children. They are strong and beautiful combs that are perfect for beautiful hair.
