The product originated from a cutlery designed by a historic German manufacturer, produced in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture. In addition to being of high quality, this is a highly designed item that pursues functionality down to the smallest detail. The rounded handle is usually made by "hot forging" from a single 4.5mm plate, but it is a difficult product to manufacture as it is successfully finished by "cold forging".
