A furoshiki featuring "Meisen", a popular Taisho retro pattern. In the Taisho era, walking around town in a kimono with a pop pattern was a new style at the time. Silk woven kimonos called Meisen, which incorporate overseas textile designs, were particularly popular among young girls who jumped on the trend, or modern girls. This series reproduces the colorful world of Meisen and the delicate expression of the ikat weave in print and arranges them into furoshiki. [Sakura] This depicts cherry blossoms dancing on colorful bricks.
