Towels produced in Imabari city, Ehime prefecture. They have been manufactured since the Meiji period, about 120 years ago.
The area where Imabari towels are made has water with low hardness and few impurities.
By bleaching the fabric using this soft water, it becomes soft to the touch and has vibrant colors.
We have established 12 unique and strict quality standards, including for absorbency and shedding rate, and only products that meet all of these standards can bear the Imabari Towel brand logo.
