○This product is made of pottery (Shino clay). ○Characteristics: We recommend sealing the porcelain when you first start using the vessel. This has the effect of making it less susceptible to dirt and stains. For details, please see How to seal the porcelain. Please avoid using abrasives such as metal scrubbers and cleansers on items with painted surfaces, as they may damage the painting. Some items may have fine cracks (crazing) on the surface when you purchase them, and some may develop cracks as you use them, but this does not interfere with use. ○Before use: Each time you use the vessel, soak it in plenty of clean water and allow it to absorb enough water. This makes it difficult for food moisture to enter, reducing the infiltration of mold and dirt. When soaked in water, spots may appear. This is because the vessel has absorbed moisture, and the spots will disappear if you dry it well. ○After use: -Do not use the vessel with food in it for a long time. -After use, immediately remove any dirt and dry it thoroughly before storing it.
