Enjoy your daily miso soup in our signature soup bowls

Our wooden hanezame-style soup bowls were made with the utmost care by a lacquerware shop in Kiso.
It is easy to use, durable, and inexpensive for lacquerware, so why not consider using it as a lacquer bowl for everyday use?

A shape that was arrived at after careful consideration of "ease of use"

Once you try it, you won't be able to put it down because of its smooth texture.
Its carefully designed shape fits the lower lip, making it easy to hold and drink from.
It has been improved many times to become what it is today.

Durability as a "tool for daily life"

The bottom is covered with linen fabric to increase its strength, and then the entire piece is coated with seven coats of lacquer for a sturdy, lustrous finish.
The wood used is made by hollowing out the wood. Hollowed out wood is rare and has higher strength than wood with joints.
